Was it any good Katy? As long as the food is okay and there is plenty to entertain the kids then I will be happy. _________________

Hi Skyegal...
This is a bit of a difficult one really ....
We went in July 2005 and it had only been open 6 weeks so there was still a few teething troubles ( a lot as far as I was concerned ).... We didn't like it but that was mainly because we found the place far, far too big and there were other issues that we had but that was mainly with the TO.... The food wasn't brilliant whilst we were there but again it had only just opened
It would be a bit unfair of me to tell you what I personally thought about it overall as it was 2 years ago that we went and a lot could, and probaly has, changed by now...
But on the plus side the rooms were the best and the bigest we have ever had and the swimming pools were HUGE... I think there was probaly more floaties than people in there at times but they never ever felt cramped...
At the end of the day every one has different opinions and if we were all the same and all wanted the same it would be a rum ole world hey !! ...I am sure you will have a fantastic time...just one thing I would say is beware of the Mozzies, they are a nightmare...we used Boots own Tropical Strength (silver tin) with 50% DEET and you DO need it, day and night... we sprayed AT ALL times and we got away with half a dozen bites but some people were very badly affected, just go pre-pared and you will be ok...there is also a spray you can buy there quite ceaply it's called Sin Kov and it is supposed to be very good as well...
Anyway here are a few piccies for you....

thanks for your honest response Katy. I do hope that a lot of the problems were teething ones and have been sorted out now.
Am a bit concerned about the mozzies - will look out for the stuff you recommend. If anyone else knows of any good anti mozzie stuff please let me know.
the size of the place was a concern as don't want to loose the kids !! Our friends have been to a Holiday Village before and it was them that recommended it as a place to go - so hoping all will be well.
Have to admit the photos look great. _________________

I am sure you will have a brilliant time Skyegal...Like I said we went when it was only just opened and by all accounts it has been taken over since then... also they have had 2 years to sort out the 'niggles' so to speak...
Our main problem was the fact that we were totally mis sold the holiday, lied to and kept in the dark which put a dampner on things before we even went .... Others will say that this is the best holiday they have ever had but it all depends on what you want from a holiday at the end of the day....we are off to Florida this July, again, and to some it would be there worst nightmare but we love it
You will have a great time I am sure...can't wait to see Piccies when you get back to compare what it looks now

thanks Katy. Hopefully it will be a great holiday - and I will make sure to tell all of you about it.
We have an account which we put money into with our friends each month - it is our "Florida Fund" - hoping to go there in a few years when all the kids are old enough. So look forward to hearing about your trip. _________________
