Hi, We are looking into booking a week's holiday (1 week in July) - favoured destination at the moment is Portugal. There is myself, hubby, and 2 boys (age 7 & 5). Can anyone recommend a good hotel that caters for children. Would prefer to go half board.
Thanks

Right! god i must be getting old,
The one i was thinking of is called the Paraiso Albufeira.
Prices are based on sc but you can add half board at a supplement, so you get an apartment and your meals! (excluding lunch)
This one is great for kids, loads going on,
No idea how big your family is but they have stuidos for 2/3 one beds for 2/4 and 2 beds for upto 7!!!!
If my memory hasn't totally packed up, i think you may find that one is a trek form the beach, but i think they have a bus to take you there.
Have a read a see what you think.
Thomas cook, if that helps.

Thanks jane. Will go and have a look. Have no particular preference yet as to where in Portugal - thought would leave it open to see what everyone says.
Will check you place out.

I havent stayed in this accomadation but I have stayed in the resort and loved it. Club Praia D'Oura, dont know if you can do AI. However, I personally think the location is superb. It is right on the beach at Praia D'Oura and at the bottom of the strip in Montechoro. _________________
