Dotty I am sure you would love El Gouna - it has a huge following and is very Westernised. Snorkeling around EG is not as good as Sharm as it is mostly lagoons and the water not deep enough for the more exotic fish, however, there are plenty of snorkeling trips which take you out to the reefs. _________________

Dotty - I would have to say El Gouna wins hands down for me - I love the Egyptian people but cannot get used to all the hastle, so as I said you do not get that in El Gouna. If you do decide let me know and I can let you have more info and picis _________________

Hi
We went to El Gouna in Aug 2006 and it was wonderful. Stayed at Sheraton Miramar which was lovely. It is so different to Sharm and Namma Bay, in a better way. Its a great place and we will definitely go back sometime soon. Not really got any piccies but if you want to know anything I will try my best to help. |
