I saw an ad for this last night. Its on channel 4 on Monday (13th) about Ryanair crew and what they get up to on their flights. Should be interest as I know a few air crew for Ryanair inc. my sister best mate! I am not suprised though. They can do around 4- 5 sectors per shift and with the plane on the ground for only 20 minutes they must be on their high heels all day!

I will never be flying with this airline again! Did anyone else watch this? The crew forged references for for other crew (serious security breach!) Rarely checked the safty of a plane before take off (One one plane the pressure gague for a emergency shot was low and on red) and when they knew just laughed about it. Left vomit on plane because they did not want to clean it and worked the crew to the bone!! They said they were not aware of this and their safety record is immaculate (for how long I wonder?) |

It was on the irish news last night and supposedly channel 4 sent Michael O'Leary CEO of Ryanair a list of all the supposed breaches etc. He replied to all of them and explained that they were untrue and unsugstantiated. He copied his letter to the civil aviation authority who have publicly said that they find the allegations to be untrue with no evidence and they will not be investigating Ryanair.
After hearing that Im sure they are as safe as houses etc. _________________

Yet it was all clearly shown on the show The fact he will not hold his hands up and say yes there are issues and we will do our best to ensure they do not happen again puts me off using them again. |

| Having flown with most of the low-cost airlines, Ryan Air were to me the least impressive. I was talking to a guy at one place I worked who was a qualified pilot who said that Ryanair charge prospective pilots for their interview...I thought he was joking. Also said the pilots up front don't get paid a vast amount - £20,000 was the figure he mentioned but I don't know how true that was. |

Pilots can only fly for 900 hours a year, or 100 a month. One pilot was filmed saying thhat Ryan air make them work just under 100 a month and that he had no work for 3 months and because it gives them a total of around 899 ish hours they are on stand by for the rest. One pilot was demoted on the spot for saying that he was too tired to fly after they worked him to the bone and told them it would not be safe for him to fly a plane!! He said they do not have enough pilots for all the flights. |

I watched the programme, what amazed me about it in this day & age is how slack security was regarding passport checks. _________________

I wouldn't be to worried as it happens everywhere.
If they had gone undercover to easyjet for 6 months then they would have found staff to be moaning and groaning.
I will still fly with ryanair as i pay my money and i takes my choice. |

But surely no matter how little you may pay for a ticket you still have the right to expect a clean and safe flight? One of their planes was taking off with a warning light showing! _________________

My brother had an interview for Ryanair. The interview was held in a car as he drove the chap to catch his flight back to Ireland. Needless to say they didn't contact him either way to let him know if he had got the job. Charming. And he's the bloody Captain!!!!!! (My brother that is!!)
