That hotel is at the end of my Mum (Dragon) & Dads road!!!!

Don't know what it's like though.

If you stay there maybe you can pop into Mums for a cup of tea!

Yes she certainly is.

Oh, and it's also her username on here.

I used to work there years ago, when it was Holiday Inn. As a 4 star the standards have to quite high, whe are you staying?

I've stayed there twice in recent years, as I grabbed a special deal to stay overnight and leave the car in their car park while we jetted away on holiday.

It's a good, comfortable hotel, large rooms, with Sky TV and a range of bars and restaurants.

However the food prices are OUTRAGEOUS! £15.95 for cod chips and mushy peas!!

Bar prices aren't too bad though, considering you're in London.

I'd hardly call it London though. It's still a London Borough but takes a good hour to get into town.

No an hour on public transport.

It depends on what time of day you're driving into town & what way you go. It could take an hour but could take 30 minutes.

I assume the coach is taking you from the hotel into London?

Yes- giving us time to eat first and then go to the show. The next morning we get dropped in again for a few hrs.
Is Convent Garden worth a visit.
Never been to London before

Covent Garden is good for shopping (I work in the Covent Garden area).

It depends what you're into though. The British museum isn't far from CG either. Trafalger square is about 10 minute walk away as is Piccadilly Circus & Leicester Square.
