Hello
Booked the Bahia Azul Apartments in Cala Bona from the 2nd of August for two weeks. There's not many reviews on HT.Seems to be full of Germans
Anybody been there? We've been to Cala Bona before in 2003.
Its good because you can walk down the promenade into Cala Millor and Sa Coma.Plenty of bars on the way, loads of shops too.Pretty close to Porto Cristo and The Caves Of Drach.
There's some really nice restaurants around the harbour too.
Really looking forward to it after the crap year i've had

Thanks Betty
Cala Bona is good, not really lively but we found plenty of entertainment there.as i said previously,it's no great distance between the resorts.we'll certainly go into Sa Coma.Only pased through it last time on the way to the Caves Of Drach so this time I want to have a look around. We also went to the Friday market at Son Servera. It's not that big but passes a few hours on.I never seem to buy anything at these markets.
We went to Palma Nova last year, stayed at the Tobago which is really Torrenova but close enough.Hotel was ok but we had the sewers in the road outside collapse so it spoilt half the holiday with all the roadworks and noise.
Hope you a great holiday Betty and please post a review when you get back.

We are off to Cala Bona on Friday for a week if anyone needs any info or photos of any where or anything I would be happy to try and help while there.
We tend to travel around a bit and will have a car as we havn't visited the island (apart from a city break in Palma) for many years and want to have a good look around ..
So if anyone is worried about anything or just needs some info let me no and I will do my best to find out while out and about. _________________

Hi Charlie,
Have a wonderful holiday.Mine's along way off
I believe the road between the Sur hotel and the Levante is now pedestrianised. Please post a review when you get home.

Hi Jeffro,
Cala Bona beach is near to the Cala Bona Hotel.Maybe 5 mins stroll round the harbour. Its only a small beach but ok.You can stroll down the promenade to Cala Millor where the beach is a lot bigger. It's a good 20/25 minute walk but there's plenty of shops and bars along the way.
If you don't want to walk you can hire the tricycles and ride down to the beach
Six weeks to go for me. |

Sorry just found this
Federman as asnwered your question.
If you like a nice beach it's worth a visit to Sa Coma.
You could have a good day out there.
You can walk ,it takes about 20 mins or you could get a bus or taxi.
There is a video of the beach on this link.
