A nice dip while you're waiting ( No...not in the pond!)....but is also really good in with your burgers or sausages is.....pot of sour cream...tub of HOT salsa. Put salsa in small dish...top with the sour cream and then some grated cheese. Yum with celery, Doritos (but I hate them! YUK!) etc...
Also...have you tried the Mexican sausages 12 in a pack with BBQ stuff from Tesco? Really nice! In the frozen section of Tesco's..try their burgers with sundried tomatoes...smashing..and they don't shrink up!
In pan heat some honey, Dijon mustard...taste to get right flavour..chuck in some sliced almonds if you want. Chicken breast in foil parcel...pour the honey stuff over...stick on bbq. (I usually partially cook them all first in a dish in microwave...THEN individually wrap with sauce and finish off on bbq!)
Or
Tuna steaks....marinade in soy sauce (make up in individual foil parcels..pour soy sauce over...seal up and leave in fridge for at least 30 minutes. ) Put parcel on bbq. Yum! |

we sometimes do raw prawns coated in a sweet chilli sauce...put them on skewers and cook.
lamb coated in a mint and lime yogurt mix...cooked on skewers.
corn on the cob chunks cooked on the BBQ is is lovely.
small potatoes ..already cooked......placed in a foil bag with a dollop of butter...cooked on the BBQ...a bit like roast potatoes!!
veggie kebab...made up of peppers, courgette, red onion and tomatoes. |
